Ministry Highlight: The Core TeamThe Gathering Place Core Team is a group of individuals selected from among the congregation to oversee the goings on at TGP as well as set the vision and direction for the church. Under the oversight of the JICF/TGP elders, this group of servant leaders meets every 4-6 weeks to discuss things like ministry reviews, outreach opportunities, areas for growth and ways to build a stronger TGP community. The Core Team is a great first point of contact for getting involved at TGP and also for addressing any questions or concerns you may have.
Are You In The Zone?In an effort to help our church body connect outside of church to offer support and encouragement to one another, the JICF/TGP leadership has divided our church members into ZONES according to where they live. Each ZONE has a ZONE LEADER which helps to facilitate relationship building between the people in their ZONE by overseeing small groups in the area. . Each week there is a big map by the name tag table where you can find out what ZONE you are in, who your leader is and their contact information. Small GroupsIf you are looking for a great way to get to know other Christians, study the Bible and receive encouragement and prayer, then a small group is a great place for you. CommunionWe celebrate the Lord's supper at TGP the first Saturday of each month. We welcome everyone who knows and loves the Lord to celebrate communion with us

Trivia Quiz EveningOn 3rd Dec 2011, we had a Trivia Quiz night, after the service. it was a great success. The goal was to have a fun, casual event to provide a time of fellowship as well as strengthen and build our church community. The next Trivia Quiz night has not been set yet.
Special EventsFaith in Action On November 19th we had a visit from the children from Pondok Taruna Orphange which is situated near Taman mini. There are a number of opportunities for a group from TGP to go and serve there fairly regularly, perhaps every 4-6 weeks. Would you be interested in becoming part of this group ? Ministry Highlight: Prayer Team"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." -Philippians 4:6-7 At The Gathering Place, we are committed to prayer and believe it is an integral part of our ministry. For this reason, we have recently determined to form a prayer team to better coordinate the communication of prayer requests throughout our TGP community. Diane and Caroline have volunteered to head up this effort.
Fellowship DinnersFellowship dinners are held every 5 to 7 weeks to enable everyone at TGP to meet afterwards at the plae of worship. These dinners are catered from outside, and therefore we would ask that a donation be made. The donation amount is normally in the region of 75000 IR per person.
